Why does some gold turn your skin green?

Why does some gold turn your skin green? It's the other metals. Lower karat gold has more copper and other metals, and they can react with your sweat. 24 karat is ninety-nine point nine percent gold. 22 karat, ninety-one point six. 21 karat, eighty-seven and a half. 18 karat? Only seventy-five. So with 22 and 24 karat, a green mark is rare. Today 22 karat is about four sixty-seven dirhams a gram, 18 karat about three eighty-four.
