Getting there
- Metro: Green Line to Al Ras or Palm Deira station, then a 5–10 minute walk.
- Abra: cross the Creek by water taxi from the Bur Dubai side to the Deira Old Souq station, a short walk from the souk.
- Car: street parking around Al Ras is paid and fills up in the evening. A taxi is usually easier.
Opening hours
Most shops open roughly 10am to 10pm. Some close for a few hours in the early afternoon, and on Fridays many open only after midday prayers. Evenings are the busiest time.
