Today, 10 grams of 22K gold costs 4,628 AED in Dubai, about ₹1,19,638. In India, 6% import duty and 3% GST push it to about ₹1,30,620. Making charges vary by shop, and tourists can reclaim most of the 5% UAE VAT at the airport.
