Check These 3 Things on Your Gold Receipt
Your gold receipt should show three things: the exact weight in grams, the karat or purity (like 22K / 916), and the making charge listed separately from the gold value. In the UAE, VAT is 0% on the gold value but 5% on the making charge. Keep the invoice, because you need it for resale and for customs.
